BusinessDaily.eu – By Mikkel Egesberg – This is just a short update about the recent trade-numbers from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union.
The June 2012 estimate for the Eurozone trade balance with the rest of the world was a 14.9 bn euro surplus ($18.4 billion), the highest since the European Union began collecting the numbers in 1999. The trade balance is the marked by the orange colour in the figure below. Exports are at 161 billion Euros (green colour), and imports are at 147 billion Euros (red colour):
